FLEX DEVELOPER

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-driven Flex/Actionscript engineer with experience developing Rich Internet Applications using Flex, Flex Builder, and ActionScript. Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan, develop, test, debug, implement, and support innovative real-time collaboration applications using various technologies including Flex/Flash, Cocomo, Web Services, etc.
• Analyze, determine, and utilize creative problem solving abilities in approaching developmental tasks
• Write high quality, high performance Actionscript 3.0 and MXML code
• Write complete Unit Tests for developed code.
Required Job Related Skills and Experience
• BS degree in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience using Flex, Flex Builder, ActionScript
• Working knowledge of one or more of the following is preferred: Java, Web Services, JSON, XML, SQL
• Working knowledge of software development life cycle (analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documentation)
• Experience working successfully with changing priorities and risk - demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and features
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - demonstrated experience in working with a team in the design and implementation of software solutions

Senior System Administrator
This position is available in Burlingame, CA
ConnectSolutions, LLC is looking for an experienced system administrator join our sysadmin team to support our large deployments of Adobe Acrobat Connect on a VMWare ESX infrastructure. As a team member, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining our systems and network infrastructure, from design issues to troubleshooting, from performance analysis to capacity planning, from DNS to networking to application profiling. Our sysadmins are responsible for making sure that our QuickConnect platform is always on and always available. The ideal candidate has worked with all aspects of a large production environment and understands what a 99.99% uptime guarantee means. We're seeking someone who is self-motivated, dedicated to customer satisfaction above all and passionate about designing and implementing secure, reliable, and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

Work with the Operations team to manage hardware and software installation, maintenance and upgrades, in a mixed Linux/Windows environment, across multiple datacenters on three continents Manage a cutting-edge VMWare Infrastructure 3 Environment

Respond to escalations from Tier 2 support on system availability and other issues. You will work in a team rotation to provide 24/7 support to our customers, and will carry a pager.

A significant part of your responsibility is to design and manage the system so as to reduce the frequency of escalations. A big part of our value is our custom software for system management. You will not only use this software, but will help design improvements to it.

Monitor site stability and performance and scale infrastructure to meet demand Troubleshoot site and customer issues. We do not stand on job descriptions, and everyone pitches in to solve problems.
Requirements

5+ years experience managing windows and Linux systems

Proven technical troubleshooting and performance tuning experience.

Ability to handle on-call duty as well as out-of-band requests.

ConnectSolutions is seeking an experienced technical account manager to join a team dedicated to customer success on our managed services platform and related technology. This individual will effectively deliver the value of the company’s solutions and services, and ensure customer success through day-to-day management of accounts. The position will involve presentations and effective written communication, including architecture analysis and recommendations. The position will also involve customer management, project management, and overall accountability for the success of our customers on ConnectSolutions’ platform.
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years experience in a customer facing technical role
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills to developer and business audiences
• Proven software demonstration/training experience
• Ability to lead coordinated efforts product teams, account managers, and business units to gather data and submit feedback appropriate to solution and/or product area
• Excellent multi-tasker, with drive to get business done quickly and effeciently
Additional Qualifications:
• Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro, Livecycle, and Flex knowledge and development experience are a big plus
• Software-as-a-service experience and knowledge
• J2EE platform and application server knowledge
• Government security clearance also a big plus, clean credit and criminal backgrounds are required.
Location:
• Flexible. The company is based in Burlingame, CA, but will consider remote work environments for the right candidate.
